English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

English Learner Advisory Committee is (ELAC) is a site-based advisory committee responsible for the following annual tasks:

Make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance.
Assist in the development of a schoolwide needs assessment.
Advise the principal and staff on the development of a site plan for English learners and submit the plan to the School Site Council for consideration of inclusion in the School Plan for Student Achievement.
Elect at least one EL Parent/Legal Guardian as a representative to the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC).

Elementary
